The History of The Band.

The idea for a "Garth Tribute began four years ago with the bands founder Ryan Harris. Ryan played the role for 2 years until health issues caused him to take a step back. Ryans replacement, Adam Grant was a accomplished recording artist from Atlanta. Adam embraced his inner Garth for two years but the constant travel and time away from family began to take a toll. In December 2023 Adam made the tough decision to step down.
Over the four years in existence the core band affectionately known as "The Pit Crew" morphed into a solid group of musicians that formed a family and friendship. The group met to discuss what the future would hold and decided, this was the time to rebrand the band and find a new Garth to continue this amazing journey. In stepped the incredibly talented Chris Johnson to carry the torch and keep the Garth tribute alive. The band changed their name to "Outside the Fire" and is now poised to take the Texas country music scene like a Thunder Roll!
